《和服パーカー》というワードでも検索していただいている 風土ローブは、立体的なフードと風に遊ぶ大きな袖とが相まって、流れるようなシルエットが生み出されます。 東洋的な優雅さと、底知れない迫力を同時に感じさせるようにデザインしたアイテムです。
今回 コレクションとしては 数年ぶりに、ニット素材の風土ローブを仕立てました。 と言いますのも、このリバーシブル・ウールニットの仕上がりが、あまりに上質だったからです。
素材のジーロンファーストラム・ウールとは、オーストラリア南部のジーロン地方で育った仔羊の、最初に刈り取った毛から作られる生地。 簡単に言えば、羊の赤ちゃんの産毛と言ったところでしょう。 豊かな土壌が育んだ このウール原料は、毛足が長く 非常に軽く、ソフトで滑らかなタッチであることが特徴。 また不純物が少ないため、白度が高く綺麗な原料です。 この原料を使用した 組織感のあるリバーシブルニット（ダブルジャージ編み）なのです。
リバーシブル素材なので、当然 単衣仕立てだが、ふわりと肉厚で充分に暖か。 表はグレー、裏は黒で、一面を縦にあぜが走り、肌触りも良好です。 前立ての折り返しや、袖口の捲り上げ、立体的なフードの扱い等の 裏側の黒を見せる着こなしも、素材の一体感により 自然なアクセントとなります。 和服の上に纏う 大ぶりなカーディガンとしても、もちろん洋服のアウターとしても、或いは室内着としても存分に使えます。 それにしても、何という贅沢な素材なのでしょう。

The material, lamb wool, is made from the first sheared wool of lambs raised in Geelong, southern Australia. This wool material, which is grown in rich soil, is characterized by its long, very light, soft and smooth touch. Also, it contains little impurities, so it is a white and beautiful raw material. This material is made into a double jersey knit.
The reversible material, gray on the front and black on the back, is thick and warm enough. There are vertical ribs on the whole surface, and it feels good on the skin. The fold-back of the placket, the cuffs are rolled up, and the three-dimensional hood shows the black on the back side, giving it a natural accent.
